What To Expect On Your First Visit
When you visit our office for the first time, your experience is completely unique and designed around what you need right now. We understand your time is valuable, so we structure the visit to efficiently address your concerns and start you on a clear path to health.
Your first appointment will fall into one of the following categories, based on your immediate situation and goals:
- For an emergency – If you are experiencing pain or an acute dental issue, we focus on providing immediate comfort and stability. We will quickly address your urgent problem and then create a clear, simple plan for the next steps in your care. This appointment is typically 30 minutes with Dr. Anast.
- For an exam and cleaning – You’ll begin with dedicated time with Dr. Anast (about 45 minutes). He’ll listen to your concerns, perform a thorough exam, and take necessary images to accurately diagnose your unique needs. Following your exam, we’ll provide a comfortable, professional cleaning, provided there are no immediate signs of active periodontal disease. Expect this appointment to take 60 minutes total.
- For a comprehensive exam – This in-depth consultation is for patients ready to make a significant, proactive investment in their long-term health or aesthetics. You and Dr. Anast will collaborate one-on-one to address your needs, define your future goals, and create a personalized, comprehensive care strategy. This detailed interview and exam typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes.
