We are here to get to know you as an individual so we can personalize your treatment to meet your specific needs.
Dental Insurance
Kimberly Smiles accepts most PPO insurance plans. If you have dental insurance, our team will help you understand your insurance coverage before beginning treatment, and we’ll also file paperwork and claims on your behalf.
Most dental insurances often cover twice-yearly checkups. But if you are seeking additional treatment, our team will coordinate your benefits and help you understand what your treatment plan will cost.
If you have any questions, contact our dental office in Wicker Park today. Our financial coordinator will work with you to maximize your insurance coverage. If you don’t have dental insurance, our financial coordinator will assist you with options to make the treatment you need affordable.
Financing Options
We understand that paying for dental treatment can be difficult for those that do not have dental insurance. Kimberly Smiles partners with several third-party financing services, including CareCredit, SimplePay, and Prosper Healthcare Lending, to make your treatment costs more manageable.
Types of Dental Appointments
When you come to our office as a new patient, you will have a unique experience that is designed to meet your specific dental needs. Patients typically visit our office in one of the following ways:
- For an emergency – you will be seen the same day to address your dental problem, usually about 30 minutes with Dr. Anast.
- For an exam and cleaning – you will be seen first by Dr. Anast for an exam and needed images to diagnose your specific dental needs, usually about 45 minutes. Then you will have your teeth cleaned if there is no periodontal disease present.
- For a comprehensive exam – you will meet with Dr. Anast to determine what your specific dental needs and goals are regarding your overall health. Then you will have an interactive, comprehensive exam where you and Dr. Anast will collaborate to address your needs and define your long-term goals. This interview and exam can take 60 to 90 minutes.
